Machine World¶
Machine World gives AI agents a memory that forgets correctly and a conscience that refuses. This site follows the project through the team's discussions: what was said, what was decided, and where things stand.
The core ideas¶
Memory that forgets correctly¶
Each memory records why it exists. When that reason ends, the memory is let go, and so is everything built on it. You are told the cause.
A conscience that refuses¶
Before an agent acts, the motive behind the act is checked. Greed, ill will and self-deception are refused before anything happens.
An open harness¶
Run the harness on any AI model. Connect it, and the memory and the conscience come with it, together.
Where things stand¶
In the owner's own words (source of truth, 23 October 2026). These are the owner's statements, not independent checks; see what exists today for the detail and the evidence.
Exists today¶
- The memory engine, running locally
- Measured: after a fact changed, ordinary memory gave 12 wrong answers out of 12; Machine World gave 0
- The guard: built, wording frozen; a blind score on a sealed test set is still pending
- The harness core and a local memory server
Being built¶
- The hosted service, one private space per customer
- Signing in with an owner gate and passkey
- The same memory across devices and models
- The public, open-source harness
Designed or vision¶
- Correct forgetting shown over 100+ cycles (designed, not yet measured)
- A harness that improves itself
- Shared spaces between people and companies
- Conditioned computation as a general way to program machines
