How to read this site

Four kinds of evidence

Everything here comes from one of four kinds of source. They are kept apart, and a weaker one is never shown as a stronger one.

What it is Where you see it How far to trust it
What people discussed Discussion pages, topics, decisions and plans What was said, proposed or agreed in a meeting. An idea discussed is not a thing built.
What the owner says exists What exists today, section A, and the home page The owner's own status words: built, in build, designed, vision. The authority on current status, but a statement, not a test.
What source documents say was tested Figures such as "0 wrong answers out of 12" or "19 of 19 refused" Results reported in the owner's documents. Not re-run for this site.
What was independently checked Using the mw CLI and section B of what exists today, marked Seen running Run for this site in October 2026, together with logs of earlier test sessions. Only the earlier mw CLI has been checked this way.

Labels on discussion points

Label Meaning
Decided Speakers said it was decided or done.
Said to exist A speaker said it exists or showed it working. Not checked.
Planned Intended; not a commitment.
Idea Suggested; nobody committed to it.
Open Unclear, or sources disagree.
Replaced Superseded by a later decision, which is named.

Points marked (unclear in the recording) were hard to hear or understand. Some weeks are summarised from only part of their discussions, and some dates are approximate; those pages say so at the top.

Sources

Source What it contributes
Owner's source of truth (version 4, 23 October 2026) and progress map Current status of every capability; decisions that fix the product's shape. Where it disagrees with anything else, it wins until the owner says otherwise.
Team discussions (recordings, July 2025 – October 2026) What was said, proposed and decided in each week. Automatic transcripts and summaries, not reviewed by the participants.
Hands-on tests of the mw CLI (June and October 2026) What actually runs. Only what was run is reported.
machineworld.io (crawled 28 October 2026; pages dated June 2026) How the project presents itself publicly. Marked as built here only when a test confirms it.
Public GitHub search (28 October 2026) No public Machine World engine repository was found.

How the discussion pages are made

  1. Each recording is transcribed automatically in five-minute pieces, in Sinhala and English.
  2. A language model extracts a summary, topics, decisions, plans, problems and questions, each with a supporting quote.
  3. An automated check confirms the quotes occur in the transcript (233 of 234 did). It does not check that the meaning is right.
  4. Repeated points within a week are merged, and points are linked to topics by keyword.
  5. Recordings, transcripts, quotes, file names, personal names and internal financial details are left out of this site. People appear as "Speaker 1", "Speaker 2" or "[name withheld]".

Conflicts between sources are never resolved silently: they are listed in open questions.

Known inconsistencies on machineworld.io (28 October 2026)

  • Version shown as V0.1.0 DRAFT, while the installed CLI reports 0.2.0 (install folder v0.2.9).
  • LLM backends named two ways: "Claude Max, Ollama, OpenRouter, LM Studio" on the landing page; "claude-cli, ollama, openrouter, openai-compat" in the FAQ.
  • 27 links inside the published documentation point to pages the site does not host.
  • The token-pack economy and "15% to creators" are presented as current; the owner's source of truth (23 October 2026) says pricing is not per token.
